About Our School
Walters Music School has been providing the finest music instruction in Mississauga for over 20 years.

Located in the heart of the city, Square One provides the ideal opportunity to meet new friends, unite families and make learning music a fun experience. With our specialized programs you and /or your child will be able to learn music with confidence!  

GROUP LESSONS

The Little Children’s Course (Ages 4 and 5yrs)
This is a fun filled, highly motivating and rewarding program for children ages four and five years old.  Activities include: singing, keyboard playing, rhythmic development, ear training, ensembles and note reading.  Experienced teachers will guide both parent and child through this exploration of music fundamentals, fostering  a lifetime of music appreciation.

Young Musicians course (Ages 6 and 7yrs)
This course is a great way to learn music and develop fundamental music skills such as ear training, singing, keyboard harmony, rhythm ensemble and note reading.

Piano Club (Ages 8 to 10)
This two year program is designed to teach beginning students aged eight to ten. Students are exposed to a variety of musical styles.  Basic musicianship skills as well as music theory are all part of this unique program. 

Group Guitar
Offered for the beginner or intermediate level student, this is an ideal and affordable way to learn to play the guitar.  Professional instructors will teach proper technique and introduce a variety of playing styles, all in a fun and motivating class setting.
Ages 8 and older.

Theory Classes
Preparation for RCM Preliminary and Grades One and Two Rudiments exams.
One hour classes held weekly. 

PRIVATE LESSONS

Piano/Keyboard
Available for all ages and levels from beginner to advanced, and custom tailored to the interest and ability of the student.

Voice
Express your inner artist! With breathing and vocal training, improve your overall physical, mental and spiritual health, while taking your favourite songs to a higher level. Whether it’s opera, pop or campfire tunes, our experienced teachers will enable you to discover your true voice.

Guitar
Our experienced teachers will help you succeed in learning your favorite musical styles; classical, jazz, folk, country, pop, flamenco, funk bass and blues.
Beginners to advanced levels.

Guitar Ensemble   (Teen and Adults) Take part in this great opportunity to “fine-tune” your musical skills, perform and interact with other musicians, create original music, and simply have fun while learning.  If you like rock, folk, jazz, and blues, then this class is for you.  Intermediate and Advanced Levels.
